CBAM may impact 0.5% of Indian GDP
India is estimated to face an impact of 0.5% of its GDP as a result of taxes related to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the co-Chairman of ASSOCHAM’s National Council on Iron and Steel, Sabyasachi Bandyopadhyay said on Tuesday at ASSOCHAM’s (Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India) conference on CBAM.
