Catalina Resources gets exploration licence for Laverton
Australian miner Catalina Resources has been granted exploration licences E38/3697 and E38/3698, in the Laverton district of Western Australia, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that the region hosts several world class deposits of gold, nickel, and rare earth elements (REE).
These include Sunrise Dam, Wallaby, Windara Nickel (with a combined 85,000 tonnes of nickel sulphide) and the Mt Weld REE deposit.
