Carpenter raises specialty steel prices
US specialty steelmaker Carpenter Technology is raising its base prices for all stainless, high-temperature, electronic and alloy steels, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
Non-contract prices across all named product categories will increase by 3-8%, Carpenter says.
The increase is effective with all new orders placed after 31 March.
All applicable surcharges will continue to apply.
