Carpenter finishes fiscal year with record operating income
US specialty steel and metals producer Carpenter Technology closed out its fiscal year with record fourth-quarter operating income, Kallanish learns from a company release.
Carpenter earned $167 million on 2.38 billion in sales during fiscal 2019, down from $188.5m on $2.16 billion in fiscal 2018.
In fiscal Q4, however, the company earned $48.9m on sales of $641.4m – generating operating profit of $67.9m.
