Carpenter completes Reading press repairs
US specialty steelmaker Carpenter Technology has completed repairs on a press at its Reading, Pennsylvania, facility. The unplanned press outage began in December, according to Kallanish records.
While the press was out, Carpenter moved up other regular maintenance activities to coincide with the repairs instead of waiting until later in the year.
