Ukrainian car production collapses further in May
Ukrainian carmakers continued to reduce production in May due to low demand, says Ukrainian carmakers’ association Ukravtoprom.
In January-May only 1,550 vehicles were produced in Ukraine, down by -35% on-year, Kallanish notes. Of this total, 1,325 were cars, down -35%, 24 were commercial vehicles, up 14%, and 201 were buses, down -41%.
