Car production in Ukraine collapses in January-April
Ukrainian carmakers reduced production in January-April due to low demand, says Ukrainian carmakers’ association Ukravtoprom.
Since the beginning of the year only 1,424 units have been produced, down by -24% on-year, Kallanish notes. Of this total, 1,238 were cars, down -24%, 12 were commercial vehicles, down -20%, and 174 were buses, down -37%.
