Chile's CAP starts ChromX rebar production for LatAm
Chile-based CAP Steel Chile has initiated production of ChromX 9100 high-corrosion-resistant rebar based on MMFX technology, Kallanish learns from MMFX.
The rebar provides over 690 MPa yield strength 1050 MPa ultimate tensile. It is proven to be five times more corrosion resistant than standard rebar. This extends lifespan and reduces maintenance costs.
