CAP Acero increases shipments but ups losses

CAP Acero, the sole Chilean integrated steelmaker, slightly increased its steel shipments in 2016 but suffered due to the lower average selling price in the market, Kallanish notes. The company shipped 719,909 tonnes of steel products last year, up 1,000t year-on-year.
