CAP Acero inaugurates by-product recycling plant
The Chilean CAP group's steelmaking arm, CAP Acero (Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato) has inaugurated new recycling plant to treat by-products resulting from production at its Talcahuano mill. The facility will replace nearly 3% of raw material used in the blast furnace, the company`s general manager Rodrigo Briceño told media during the plant opening ceremony monitored by Kallanish.
