Canada's iron ore freight volumes hit four-month high
Monthly railway freight car loadings of iron ore and steel products in Canada were mixed in May, Kallanish learns from Statistics Canada.
The volume of primary and semi-finished iron and steel products shipped within Canada by rail decreased by 3% month-on-month, from 335,819 tonnes to 325,853t. Compared to a year earlier, this was a 10.4% decrease.
