Canada's Champion Iron to reduce Bloom Lake production
Canadian iron ore producer Champion Iron is drawing down production at its Bloom Lake mine in response to a directive from the government of Québec, Kallanish reports.
The drawdown will continue until at least 13 April. Essential staff will remain on site, but the company’s phase two growth plans for the mine have been suspended until further notice.
