Canada upholds Chinese casing duties
The Canada Border Services Agency has opted to keep anti-dumping and countervailing duties in place for Chinese seamless casing, Kallanish reports.
The duties, originally put in place as a result of a 2008 case, range from 37-91% for dumping and 2-38% for subsidies.
A sunset review of those duties concluded that both dumping and subsidisation were likely to continue if the duties were lifted.
A full statement of reasons is expected by 6 July.
