Canada says no to removing line pipe duties
The Canada Border Services Agency doesn’t believe antidumping duties on large OD welded line pipe imports from China and Japan, nor the countervailing duties on the Chinese product, should be allowed to expire.
The agency issued its final determination this week, saying that expiration of the duties would likely result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and subsidisation by the Asian countries.
