Canada Nickel acquires full ownership of Texmont mines
Canada Nickel has acquired full ownership of all nine nickel mines at its Texmont property near Timmins, Ontario, containing an estimated 3.2 million tonnes of 0.9% nickel, Kallanish understands.
According to the company, this recent acquisition may allow for the start of open pit production of high-grade nickel at Texmont in the near-term future.
