Canada initiates rebar dumping investigations

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has initiated investigations into the dumping of rebar from seven countries, Kallanish reports. The countries under investigation by the CBSA are Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. The initiation of the investigation follows the complaint notices from several domestic manufacturers including ltaSteel Inc, ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, and Gerdau Ameristeel Corp in early August. …
