Canada extends preliminary period for rebar dumping investigation
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has extended the preliminary phase of investigation for the antidumping duty of certain concrete reinforcing bar from Bulgaria, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, Kallanish discovers from government notice.
This investigation is under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) and follows a complaint filed by ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, G.P., Gerdau Ameristeel Corp, and AltaSteel Inc (see Kallanish 7 May).
