Canada awards CAD 18m to Heico
The government of Canada has granted Heico Canada CAD 18 million ($13.54m) to spur job creation, Kallanish reports.
This is the latest in a series of grants by the Canadian government, including a CAD 50m grant earlier this month to Stelco.
The CAD 18m will directly create 86 jobs and “...maintain 1,308 more at Heico facilities in Marieville, Quebec, L'Orignal, Ontario, and Ingersoll, Ontario,” according to a government release.
