Cadence Minerals expects to shorten Amapá project's licencing
UK-based Cadence Minerals (CM) says it could shorten the licencing for the Amapá iron ore project to 12-16 months compared with the usual timeline of as long as 36 months, Kallanish learns from the company.
The revised schedule is expected to result in the grant of installation licences (LI) over the wholly owned port, railway, beneficiation plant and mine during 2024, followed by an operational licence (LO) after construction is completed, CM explains.
