Buyers resist increasing Turkish merchant bar quotes
Turkish merchant bar quotes have been increasing gradually since last week amid rising raw material prices. However, buyers are pushing back.
On Friday, most producers’ export quotes were pegged at $780-800/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $790-810/t for IPN-UPN sections, $800-820/t for flat bars, and $790-810/t for IPE sections, up $30/t on-week.
