Burst piping at ArcelorMittal Temirtau slows down output
Kazakhstan-based ArcelorMittal Temirtau has been put into slow operating mode after the pipework running between the converter shop and lime burning shop was damaged severely on 10 November.
As a result of a powerful hydrodynamic impact, oxygen and nitrogen supply lines, water supply, and both liquified natural gas and compressed air pipe lines are damaged, acting general director Vadim Basin says.
