BTR cooperates with Jingyang for needle coke
Beiterui New Material Group (BTR) plans to establish a joint venture with Shandong Jingyang Technology for the production of needle coke and artificial graphite anode material, Kallanish notes.
BTR wants to control 55% of the JV, which will have a registered capital of CNY 500 million ($76.68m). The plan is to build a production base, including a total capacity of 120,000 tonnes/year of needle coke and 80,000 t/y of high-end artificial graphite anode materials.
