British Steel renews Network Rail supply contract
British Steel has renewed for a further two years its contract to supply rail to UK rail infrastructure operator Network Rail, the steelmaker tells Kallanish.
By the time the contract concludes in March 2024, British Steel’s Scunthorpe headquarters will have supplied Network Rail with more than 1 million tonnes of rail in a decade, the firm says.
