British Steel to meet Ascoval workers
British steel is to meet the French workers at former Ascoval steel mill in Saint Saulve by the end of next week. French economy minister Bruno le Maire has confirmed that the current difficulties British Steel in going through in the UK “... do not involve the British Steel Saint Saulve steel mill which is owned by another company of the (British Steel) group,” the minister says in a note seen by Kallanish.
