British Steel eyes Skinningrove production ramp-up
British Steel plans to increase production at its Skinningrove special profiles mill next spring. To support this move, it is hiring 66 new workers, of which 41 will be based at Skinningrove.
The unit is currently operating 24 hours per day from Monday-Friday, which it plans to increase to round-the-clock output from spring. The firm declined to divulge further details of the planned production increase when contacted by Kallanish.
