Vale resumes operations at São Luís pellet plant
Brazil’s Vale has entered in the final phase of resuming operations at its São Luís iron ore pellet plant, the miner confirms to Kallanish. The unit in Maranhão state has been halted since 2012.
“Vale`s São Luís unit has begun the commissioning phase. The full restart of operations is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, as previously announced by the company,” says Vale.
