Vale opens pilot iron ore dry processing plant
Brazil’s Vale has inaugurated its pilot plant for dry magnetic concentration of low-grade iron ore, the miner tells Kallanish. The so-called Fines Dry Magnetic Separation (FDMS) technology has been developed by Vale subsidiary New Steel.
