Brazil`s steel production and consumption grow in July
Brazilian steel production and apparent steel consumption continued to grow during the first seven months of 2017, Kallanish learns from data issued by the local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB).
Crude steel output reached 19.6 million tonnes during January-July period, or 10.6% more compared to the same period of last year. In July, crude steel production totalled 2.8mt. up by 1% y-o-y.
