Brazil’s crude steel output recovery accelerates
Recovery in the Brazilian steel sector is accelerating and is confirmed by the latest data on crude steel production in the country, Kallanish learns from data issued by the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
In May Brazilian crude steel output rose by13.2% year-on-year to 2.9 million tonnes. The recovery was over six times higher than the global output improvement, at 2% y-o-y.
