Brazil’s September wire rod exports reach seven-month low
Brazilian wire rod exports fell in September, both on-month and year-on-year.
Exports reached just 3,980 tonnes, which is 22.1% weaker over August’s 5,110t and 13.3% less y-o-y, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish. This volume was the lowest since February, when the country shipped 3,760t.
Nine-month shipments reached 40,403t, up by 3.5% compared to January-September 2021…
