Brazil's September flats sales, purchases drop
Flat steel sales from Brazil’s distributors and service centres fell sequentially in September, Kallanish notes. Shipments in October are expected to be almost flat month-on-month, national steel distributors’ association Inda estimates.
In September, distributors’ sales totalled 323,500 tonnes, down 3.4% over the previous month but 20.3% more compared to 276,600t a year earlier.
