Brazil's September coated, alloy flats shipments drop
Brazil’s carbon coated steel and alloy flat steel exports fell on-month in September, while carbon non-coated steel shipments grew, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, exports of carbon flat-rolled plated and coated steel reached just 11,300 tonnes in September, a fall of 84.7% compared to 74,100t in August and 26.1% on-year.
