Brazil’s semis imports, exports decrease sequentially in July

Brazil saw imports of semi-finished products fall month-on-month but remain strong in July, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data. Exports, meanwhile, also decreased sequentially, Kallanish notes. The country imported 116,000 tonnes of semis in July, down by 18.3% on-month but 113,150t higher year-on-year.
