Brazil’s semis exports remain weak in October
Brazilian exports of semi-finished products fell on-year for a third consecutive month in October, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 638,000 tonnes of semis in October, down by -11.6% compared to the same month in 2019. This volume, however, was 23.4% higher versus the 517,000t shipped abroad in September.
