Brazil’s semis exports, imports drop on-month in November
Brazilian exports of semi-finished products decreased month-on-month but remained higher year-on-year in November. Monthly imports sharply fell, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, semis shipments abroad amounted to 756,000 tonnes in November, a fall of almost 160,000t from October but 24.3% higher versus the same month last year.
