Brazil’s semis exports dip in January
Brazil saw exports of semi-finished products fall month-on-month in January, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data. Shipments, however, were double compared to the same period in 2021, Kallanish notes.
Brazilian semis shipments abroad totalled 737,913 tonnes in January, down by 23.7% over December 2021 but 101.7% higher versus the same month last year.
