Brazil semis exports dip in January
Brazilian exports of semi-finished products decreased on-year for a fifth consecutive month in January. They also reached their lowest monthly level since August 2018, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, the country exported 365,000 tonnes of semis in January. This was down by -56.5% on-year and -32.3% less versus December 2020.
