Brazil's semi-finished steel exports grow in June
Brazil’s exports of semi-finished products increased on-year in June. They were almost flat in the first half of 2020 compared to January-June 2019, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) figures monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 825,000 tonnes of semis in June, up 14.6% year-on-year. This volume was also 38.4% higher versus the 596,000t shipped abroad in May.
