Brazil Securities Commission reaches agreement with Vale executive
The Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) says it has ended its lawsuit against Vale investor relations and chief financial officer Luciano Siani Pires. The case was over an alleged breach of fiduciary duties by Pires.
CVM agreed a Term of Commitment with Pires, who pledged to pay a total of BRL 600,000 ($141,830) to the Security Commission.
