Brazil’s scrap exports rise in June
Brazilian ferrous scrap exports increased year-on-year in June, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish.
June exports of scrap were 76,700 tonnes, up 1.9%. This volume was also 48.6% higher than in May. January-June shipments of ferrous scrap totalled 392,911t, up by 46.1% y-o-y.
June exports of scrap had an fob value of $16 million, down -28.6% compared to the same month of last year…
