Brazil`s scrap exports grow year-on-year in April
Brazilian ferrous scrap exports increased year-on-year in April. Shipments abroad rose to its highest volume since October 2017, according to the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of scrap reached 45,050 tonnes in April, up by 45.1% y-o-y or 13,990 tonnes more than in the corresponding period of last year. They were also 42.8% higher than the volume of 31,540t in shipped …
