Pig iron prices tick downwards in Brazil
Brazilian pig iron prices lowered last week whilst exports of the product had already tumbled year-on-year in April, Kallanish learns from sources in the market.
Brazilian export pig iron prices fell by some $10/tonne during last week due to low domestic demand and production cuts, market participants say. These are now at $325-330/t fob Brazil.
