Brazil's October flats exports drop, except coated steel
Brazil’s carbon coated steel exports rose on-month in October, while carbon non-coated and alloy flat steel shipments decreased, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, exports of carbon flat-rolled plated and coated steel reached 17,800 tonnes in October, an increase of 57.5% compared to 11,300t in September but 75% lower on-year.
