Brazil’s March wire rod exports move up
Brazilian wire rod exports increased on-month in March, but were lower on-year, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish. March imports also rose sequentially.
Brazil exported 4,760 tonnes of wire rod in March, up 13.3% over February but 19.5% lower year-on-year. Three-month shipments reached 12,603t, up by 3.8% compared to January-March 2021, according to Mdic.
