Brazil's manufacturers discuss China import scheme
Brazilian machinery and equipment industry association Abimaq says it is advancing with a steel import programme. The plan aims to overcome steel supply shortages faced by the manufacturing chain following higher industrial activity and consumption in Brazil. This will be done through a purchasing scheme between members.
