Brazil's June pig iron production grows, exports fall

Brazilian pig iron production rose month-on-month and year-on-year in June. Exports, however, decreased, Kallanish notes. According to data from the local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB), May’s pig iron output was 2.28 million tonnes, an increase of 166,000t or 7.8% m-o-m.
