Brazil's June coated exports rise, other flats slip
Brazil saw carbon non-coated and alloy flat steel exports rise month-on-month in May, while coated steel shipments fell, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, exports of carbon flat-rolled plated and coated steel reached 25,700 tonnes in June, up 17.3% on-month but 11.6% less on-year.
