Brazil scrap exports increase on-year in July
Brazilian ferrous scrap exports rose slightly year-on-year in July but were almost flat compared to June, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish.
July exports of scrap were 76,500 tonnes, up 1.8% y-o-y. This volume was just -0.3% less than in June. January-July shipments of ferrous scrap totalled 469,371t, up by 36.4% on-year.
