Brazil’s January ore exports fall following heavy rains

Brazil saw its iron ore exports sharply decrease in January. Lower shipments resulted from the heavy rains that hit the country at the beginning of 2022, Kallanish notes. According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, shipments abroad of iron ore reached 25.2 million tonnes in January.
