Brazil iron ore exports fall in August
Brazil saw iron ore exports fall year-on-year in August. Shipments abroad in the first eight months of 2020 also remained lower, according to National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) monthly data monitored by Kallanish.
August shipments of iron ore were down -7.4% on-year at 31.3 million tonnes. These were also down -7.9% compared to July, Mdic data show.
